Preventing the Summer

Parents, research shows that students that continue reading and participating in learning activities don’t lose information over the summer - preventing the “Summer Slide’ that can happen when children do not keep their brains active over the summer!

Here are some things that you can use this summer to help keep your child/ren climbing up that learning ladder!
Kindergarten - But not just for Kindergarten!
Share the Bedtime Math App (http://bedtimemath.org/apps/) with parents to use with their children.
Encourage parents to play games with kids over the summer.  Here are some examples of games that will maintain mathematical thinking in fun ways.
