Summer Care

Parents,

It is time to register for summer camp 2017! We look forward to providing your child with a great summer of learning including friendship building and hands-on activities. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis, until the program is filled. A $30.00 non-refundable registration fee is required. Your child must be 5 years of age by June 5, 2017.

The Summer Care program will operate from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday from June 5th – August 11, 2017. **Summer care will not be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Please send a bag lunch each day. Summer care will only provide a morning and afternoon snack.

                                   

Weekly Payment Plan                                                  Daily $30.00 per child each day

One child - $90.00

Two Children - $160.00

Three Children - $ 240.00       

*** Please note summer camp will allow you to select only the days or weeks you need for the summer.

Parent Portal

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Please complete the annual registration process as soon as possible. This online process began April 17th. It involves providing annual proof of residence, verifying student information, and reviewing and completing forms.

To get started log in to Parent Portal. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, you will need to create one to complete the process.

Once you have logged in to Parent Portal please select the student’s name you wish to register for the 2017-2018 school year. Please note you must register each of your children that attend Richland Two schools.

With the student’s name selected, click on the “Annual Registration” button located in the navigation bar to the left of the screen.

Some students at Forest Lake participated in a live connection with NASA's Digital Learning Network and Abigail Harrison,

better know as Astronaut Abby.

The kids were so excited and we loved her quote "The journey is more important than the destination!" We look forward to following her to see if she will be the first person to go to Mars!

Afterschool Activities Canceled

SEVERE WEATHER PROMPTS CANCELLATION OF ALL AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES IN RICHLAND TWO

Based on severe weather reports that are predicting high winds and hazardous road conditions and with the safety of our students, parents and employees in mind, Richland School District Two will cancel all afterschool activities for Monday, April 3, 2017.

This cancellation includes all sporting events and practices, afterschool childcare programs, the Boys and Girls Club programs and any other afterschool activities.

The Richland Two Community Conversations event scheduled for Monday, April 3 at the VIVE Church located at 2630 Clemson Road has been postponed. Information on the rescheduled date for the event will be posted to the Richland Two website once it is determined.

Shout out to fifth grader Pratyaksh Sharma (Matty) for representing FLE in the Statewide GEO Bee Friday, March 31, 2017. He competed against over a hundred elementary and middle school students. Forest Lake is proud of Matty for doing an amazing job!
