EverFi™ Financial Literacy Essay Contest

Ms. Jacobs' 3rd grade class uses a financial education program called Everfi that teaches students financial literacy. Students had the opportunity to earn college scholarship money by submitting a blog entry describing how the program has helped them and what they've learned since using the program. Madison Derrick's blog entry placed at 2nd place as she talked about the impact of the program and her future dreams. She and Ms. Jacobs will attend the SC Economics Awards Luncheon on May 19th  to recognize Madison for the award.
