Forest Lake staff and students were treated to a limo ride and lunch at Chick fil A.  The students won the limo ride for selling the most items for the PTO fund raiser.

Author Jeffrey Bennett visited Forest Lake on Friday, May 16 and 17.  Thursday evening was a special session for parents and other interested individuals and Friday he spoke to all grade levels and special groups.  

How does your garden grow?  Forest Lake's kindergarten students have created their very own kindergarten garden! A grant to Kindergarten funded this project that really benefits the entire school-brightening everyone's day.  There is a video link on our web page.

Kindergarten dedicated the garden to Dr. Steck, Mrs. Padget, and Mr. Brown.  Kindergarten teachers presented the trio with a plaque for the garden to commemorate the event!

We're looking forward to our visit from Dr. Jeffrey Bennett.  If you would like an autographed copy of one of his books, call the main office for an order form.
