Want to help your child learn to manage money?
There’s no better time to start than now!
HOW? IT’S EASY!
- Go to a branch of the Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union and create an account for your child. Your child will receive a Spend & Save Piggy Bank.
- Send a deposit (cash or check) with your child on Tuesdays (they will bring this straight to the library to deposit). They will fill out a deposit slip which will be verified at school by one of the school liaisons (Mrs. Scullion or Mrs. Luthren). Students will receive a copy of the deposit slip to take home.
- Deposits will be taken to the credit union by a school liaison that day.
- An official receipt and a small prize to reward your child for saving will be brought back and given to your child at the end of the day.
If you have any questions regarding this program,
or any other services that Palmetto Citizens can offer,
We will start receiving deposits on Tuesday, November 1st.
