Eagle Updates!

  We would like our Forest Lake family and friends to know that when our school attended the Reduced Gravity Opportunity in February of 2012, our district did a story about our experience.  Adam Ginsburg, our video specialist, created a video using clips from the students doing the experiments in the classroom, our trip to Houston, and then our sessions after we came back to the school. The video was entered in the Television Programming State Competition in South Carolina.  Adam won first place in South Carolina for “Forest Lake Elementary’s Zero Gravity NASA Experiment” Video.  South Carolina then entered the video in the National Television Programming, where Adam received an Honorable Mention for Distinguished Achievement in the Category of Video casting/Video streaming.  We are so proud of Adam and his awards and we wanted to share our exciting news with everyone!
