KINDNESS WEEK AT FLE
MARCH 20-24, 2017
Kindness Week is one week dedicated to creating a culture of kindness at Forest Lake.
All students will receive a Random Acts of Kindness board with 16 kind acts to perform. Homeroom classes will be competing for the title of “Forest Lake’s Kindest Class.”
All students are encouraged to participate in the Kindness Poster Contest. Poster contest details are below.

Kindness Poster Contest
WHO: Forest Lake Students
WHAT: Create a poster to encourage the Forest Lake community that kindness matters. When creating your poster think about the following:
- What is kindness?
- How can you show kindness at school, home and in the community?
- How does being kind make the world a more peaceful place to live?
- Why is it important to be kind?
Be sure to incorporate the phrase “Kindness Matters” somewhere on your poster.
The posters that display the theme “Kindness Matters” in the most meaningful way will win a $15 Target gift card. Two winners will be selected.
WHEN: All posters must be submitted to Mrs. Luthren on or before Thursday, March 23rd. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 24th on the news show.
HOW: Use poster board or construction paper. Posters will be accepted in all colors and sizes.
